Why Our Rescue Dogs Thrive
We are proud to have received the Mayor’s Award for Small Business Making a Difference — a recognition fueled by the voices of neighbors and volunteers who have seen our unwavering commitment to dogs in need.
At THE DOG SERVICES, rescue is not a side effort — it’s at the heart of who we are. From helping nonprofits assess and train harder-to-place dogs, to catching strays, educating overwhelmed owners, and providing hands-on rehabilitation, we give our time, skills, and hearts to save dogs others have overlooked.
This page is a reflection of that work. Here, you’ll find dogs currently available for adoption — and a gallery of past rescues who went from being forgotten to living their best lives, all thanks to dedicated rehabilitation, behavior training, and a second chance. When you train with us or support our work, you’re not just helping your own dog — you’re helping save another.

Our adopters must be committed to continuing structure, training, and treating our dogs like true family. They are not backyard dogs—they are companions.
WHAT SETS OUR RESCUE APART
One-Dog-at-a-Time Focus
We don’t overcrew’d. Each rescue is part of our home, not a kennel.
Health & Grooming
All dogs are fully vetted, bathed, and ready to integrate into family life.
Behavioral Training
Dogs are trained in real-world settings for long-term success.
Daily Socialization
Dogs meet people, go on field trips, and build confidence daily.
Adopter Education
Every adopter is coached on structure, behavior, and decompression.
Trauma-Informed Care
We don’t just house them — we heal them.
MEET OUR ADOPTABLE
We take in one dog at a time to ensure full training, socialization, and emotional healing. This individual approach allows us to give each dog the best possible chance at a successful, lifelong adoption—and it ensures we can financially support their full journey.
No dog currently available. We're working behind the scenes to save the next one. Be the first to know—subscribe below or follow our journey on social media.
Interested in Getting Involved Early?
-
When you adopt one of our rescue dogs early in their rehabilitation, you don’t just get a trained companion—you get to be part of their journey. Early adopters are invited to join us through the training process, build trust and connection, and help shape the dog’s transition into a stable, loving home. It’s not just adoption—it’s partnership.
-
This is an interest list only. You’re not committing to adopt and there’s no guarantee of placement—just early access to learn more about the next rescue.
“Loved. Trained. Adopted.”
These are the faces of change. Each one came to us unsure, reactive, or shut down—and left as a loved companion. Their stories are proof that transformation takes time, trust, and training.
Thank you and we look forward to helping you,
